The first floor has a king bedroom. Upstairs, one bedroom has a queen bed and another has two twin beds. The cabin has two bathrooms. In the two-story cabins (Farm, West Jefferson and Nature), upstairs windows have alarms that sound if a child opens a window. The property has steep grades and hot tubs, so adult supervision is required.
Make time for the outdoors, then come back to a place of your own. The Nature cabin offers three bedrooms for up to six guests and a relaxed base for exploring the High Country.
Your base for the High Country
The Nature A-Frame Cabin at 25 High Drive is made for days outside and slow evenings back at the cabin. Its palette of moss, stone, river blue, and weathered wood, together with regional photography, echoes the mountains and rivers around Ashe County.
Natural colors and regional photography set the theme. Mount Jefferson's summit trails are about 11 minutes away, and the Blue Ridge Parkway about 18 minutes.
Sleeps six
The first-floor king bedroom opens through a rear door onto a small deck and the lighted walking trails. Upstairs are a queen bedroom and a room with two single beds. The cabin has two full bathrooms, including a walk-in spa shower downstairs.
Come back to the hot tub
The front porch has seating, your own gas grill, and a private XL deluxe hot tub. Come back from a day outside and sit a while. A free EV charger is on-site. When everyone's together, the covered pavilion, gas-fueled stone fire pit, and large shared BBQ are a short walk down the string-lit paths — with waterfall seating, swing chairs, and picnic benches along the way.
Nearby outdoors
Mount Jefferson's summit trails are about 11 minutes away, and the Blue Ridge Parkway about 18 minutes. New River State Park is known for tubing and kayaking, and Elk Knob State Park is nearby. Check park alerts and Parkway road status before you go.
Every A-frame also includes the shared grounds: the gas-fueled stone fire pit, covered pavilion, large BBQ, waterfall seating, swing chairs, picnic benches, and lighted trails.

Before you arrive
House rules
- Check-in 4:00 PM / checkout 11:00 AM.
- Self check-in with a smart lock; the door code and check-in details are emailed 2 days before arrival.
- Maximum occupancy is 6 guests.
- One well-behaved dog is welcome per cabin, with a $75 dog fee for each cabin that has a dog.
- A cleaning fee applies per stay. The amount is shown in the quote at checkout.
- Smoking is allowed outdoors with no fee. No smoking or vaping indoors. Indoor smoking is a $1,000 fee.
- Hot tub: shower before use; no glass; replace the cover; no solo or intoxicated use; supervise children. A $50 hot tub maintenance fee applies only if misuse requires us to fully drain and refill the tub. It is not a booking fee.
- Quiet hours 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. There is no set gathering limit for the shared common area. Large parties must get approval from Harmonious Abodes before bringing outside guests.
Arrival
Check-in 4:00 PM / checkout 11:00 AM. Self check-in with a smart lock.
Cancellation
100% refund if you cancel 14 or more days before arrival. 50% refund if you cancel at least 7 but fewer than 14 days before arrival. No refund inside 7 days.
